AS Enterprises has been delivering high-performance PU foam processing and cutting machines for nearly 3 decades. They have delivered over 1350 machines to nearly 425 different companies, with export to over 42 countries, worldwide. They have also been awarded “Exporters from India” by the prestigious IPUA.
Q1. How long has your company been manufacturing PU foam machines, and what inspired you to enter this field?
A. AS Enterprises is India’s Pioneer in the field of PU foam machinery, serving the industry since 1989. We embarked by becoming the first manufacturer to produce PU foam machines on Indian soil. Prior to our entry into this market, the industry was reliant on imports to meet its machinery requirements. Our founder Mr. Ashok Puri took this as a challenge and made India’s first Carousel cutting machine in the year 1989.
Our mission has always been to provide solutions that not only meet industry standards but also surpass them. We have continually striven to achieve excellence in our machines, ensuring that they embody the very essence of goodness.
Over the years, we have consistently endeavored to strike the delicate balance between quality and affordability comparatively looking at expensive machines from the western countries.
Q2. Could you briefly explain the product ranges that your company manufactures?
A. ASE specializes in the manufacturing of machinery related to Flexible PU foam production & conversion. Our product range includes a variety of Foam Making, cutting and processing machines essential for establishing and operating a PU foam manufacturing facility. We take great pride in offering comprehensive solutions to meet the diverse needs of our valued customers. ASE also offers a wide range of customized solutions for foam block handling and storage.
Q3. Please highlight the usage of these machineries in the mattress and furniture sector and what role does India Mattresstech and Upholstery Supplies expo play in reaching your target audience in these 2 sectors?
A. Our machinery plays a vital role in serving the fundamental needs of the Mattress Industry and furniture sector. PU Foam, a key material, is manufactured and processed/cut to the required specifications using our machines, serving as a crucial raw material for the mattress industry. In addition to this, we also manufacture machinery that supports the mattress industry, such as Mattresses trimming machines, Pillow cutting machines, Profile Cutting Machines, and Foam Punching machines. These supplementary machines can elevate factory’s capabilities, enhance the product line, and elevate brand value and production quality.

Furthermore, it’s worth noting that this growth is not confined to India alone; it is a global trend, indicative of the industry’s ongoing progress on a worldwide scale. Q5. Could you mention specific types of customization inquiries you receive from companies in the mattress and furniture manufacturing sector?
A. As a manufacturer of PU foam machines, we often receive inquiries from companies within the mattress and furniture manufacturing sector. These inquiries are typically from mattress manufacturers who are interested in producing PU foam in-house. The rationale behind this interest lies in the ability to exercise greater control over the quality of the mattresses they produce, directly contributing to brand-building efforts. A. Yes, we have ISO 9001:2015: This is a widely recognized international standard for quality management systems. Machines are ANSI & CE compliant. Each and every machine is tested for performance before it leaves our factory.
Q7. How do you address the evolving environmental and sustainability concerns in the industry?
A. Environmental friendly policies are one of the most important aspects of ASE working culture We are dedicated to design our machinery to be as efficient as possible in terms of production and energy use. This not only helps us save on operational costs but also significantly reduces the carbon footprint.
One of our products, the Re-bonded Foaming Machine, is a great example of our dedication to recycling and reusing materials. This machine takes waste foam and turns it into re-cycled foam blocks, which is not only good for the environment but also aligns with our mission of promoting recycling and reuse.
